Journey into Palmistry

Although Dr. Kamal Dani built a successful corporate and academic career, Palmistry remained his lifelong passion.

His interest in Palmistry began in 1972 while he was still a student. Initially pursued as a hobby, he spent years studying classical literature, observing palm formations and documenting practical case studies. His curiosity gradually developed into systematic research, leading him to analyse thousands of hands over several decades.

In June 1992, he formally started practising as a Professional Palmist in Kolkata. Since then, he has examined more than 9,000 palms, making him one of the most experienced exclusive palmists in India.

Unlike conventional palm readers, Dr. Dani adopted a research-oriented methodology based on observation, documentation and comparative analysis. His consultations focus on personality assessment, behavioural tendencies and life patterns through detailed palm analysis supported by decades of practical experience.

His clients include professionals, entrepreneurs, industrialists, students and families from India as well as Non-Resident Indians residing in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada, who regularly seek online consultations.

His prediction accuracy, depending upon the nature of individual cases, has been estimated between 60% and 100%. This reputation, together with his commitment to continuous research, has established him as one of India's most respected research-oriented palmists.

Research and conference participation

Research has always remained the foundation of Dr. Kamal Dani's professional work. Rather than limiting his activities to consultations, he has consistently promoted Palmistry through academic discussions, scholarly presentations and scientific documentation.

His active participation in national conferences began in 1995. Since then, he has attended 146 National and International Conferences and Seminars on Astrology held across India between 1995 and 2026. This achievement makes him the first Gujarati from the entire Eastern India to accomplish this distinction.

During these conferences, Dr. Dani presented 90 research papers and invited lectures covering various aspects of Palmistry, practical observations and research findings. His presentations have contributed significantly to encouraging research-based learning and scholarly discussion within the fields of Palmistry and Astrology.

His research methodology combines decades of practical observations, detailed documentation and analytical interpretation, helping establish Palmistry as a discipline based on continuous study rather than traditional assumptions. His commitment to conference participation for more than three decades reflects his dedication to lifelong learning, academic exchange and professional development.

His international recognition continued in 2010 when the International Biographical Centre (IBC), Cambridge, England published his biography in the reference work 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century.
