Vinita Rajendra Dhariwal (popularly known as Vini Dhariwal) was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a historic city widely recognised as the birthplace of the legendary ruler Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. She was born into a respected Jain family where education, discipline, honesty and social responsibility formed the foundation of everyday life.
She is the daughter of Prof. (Sh.) Shanti Lal Nahar, whose academic background and emphasis on education greatly influenced her intellectual development from an early age. Growing up in an environment that valued knowledge, ethics and public service, she developed a deep interest in learning, leadership and helping others.
From childhood, Vinita actively participated in school competitions and consistently demonstrated excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities. She was particularly recognised for her outstanding performance in essay writing, debates, public speaking and literary competitions at district and state levels.
